I thought of the box as portal or doorway into an inner realm. Something you would walk by and notice at the last minute and hopefully stop and peek in.
In general, I prefer to say little about my work. I would rather leave things mysterious. The meaning open to interpretation. I do like the idea of giving clues, hints, and misdirection as to my motivation and state of mind.
Portal to the past
Portal to the present
Portal to the future
Orifices
Doorways
Wind erosion
Ears
Fun house
Tunnel of love
Looney tunes
Dioramas
Down the rabbit hole
Time portals
Land of the lost
Star Trek..guardian of forever
Draw me a sheep
Inner realms
Slot canyons
Valley of fire
Red rock canyon
Turtles all the way down
Age of anxiety
Tubular groaning of a galactic refrigerator
The meaningless search for meaning
A place to hide
“This is no cave”
A Keyhole
The sum of opposing perimeters
A time machine
Somewhere between today and yesterday
Somewhere between yesterday and tomorrow
Between the past and present
The forgotten future meets the forgotten past
Bomarzo
Mouth of truth
Mouse holes
